Super8 film, was shot over the course of my 2021 summer. There isn't a story, there aren't many words. The goal with the project was to make something that evoked nostalgic emotions. I wanted to capture and share how I see the world, and moments, and people, and places... without the distraction of a digital camera - a distraction to both myself, and those around me.
The entire film was shot on Kodak 50D, 200T, and 500T Super 8mm film. It was a new medium for me, but there is no filter, overlay, or editing effects that can replicate the Super8 look better than shooting the format itself.
There's perfection in its imperfections.
